Virtual Construction in Progress™ is an Internet-based visual status reporting method that goes beyond traditional photography. Status reports are made with 360-degree virtual reality photography, presented on the Internet, and viewed with QuickTime or Java software that is available for all computers connected to the Internet.
Architects, construction management companies, and project owners all need to report the progress of their construction jobs to people who would would like to see, first hand, how things are going. Virtual Construction in Progress™ provides unique photographic updates that can be published on the Internet at regularly scheduled intervals. You can see an example site here.
Interactive Experience
The virtual reality panoramas that we use put the viewer right at the site, in the middle of the project with the ability to see everything around them. Virtual CIP™ offers the viewer an experience they actually participate in. On their computer screens, viewers see a first-person perspective because they have the ability to control their point of view. Virtual CIP™ engages the viewer with interactivity, and invites them to be active in the experience, as if we are really there.
The photos are created with a digital camera mounted on a special tripod head. Then the resulting images are processed with special computer software. The environments are photo-realistic interpretations of reality. They can be supplemented with text on web pages that we can design and update or the images can be included on the web sites of the owner, architect or contractor.
Call us to discuss how we can help you improve your communication with clients through the use of Virtual CIP™. We will be glad to present you with a sample website including some shots of one of your current projects.
